Married and the father of four daughters, one of which, Jenny, has had dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) since birth and is now 30 years old. Mark became involved with the charity in 2015 assisting his wife Julie run the Cheshire and Merseyside Cardiomyopathy Support Group. He continues to share his own journey with the support group as a parent to someone with the condition.
Mark has held senior Finance Directorships throughout his career for over 25 years and latterly was a Finance Director for a large mental health charity in the North West. Now retired, Mark wants to put his experience in both his finance background and as part of a support group to good use. Hearing first-hand experiences of people affected by cardiomyopathy, he is keen that they get the best information and guidance on living with the condition.
